Last updated: March 10, 2026

This privacy policy describes how the Google Classroom MCP application collects, uses, and protects your information.

When you authorize the service, it requests read-only access to the following Google Classroom data through your Google account:

All access is read-only. The service cannot create, modify, or delete any data in your Google Classroom account.

How Your Data Is Handled

The service does not maintain a database or store any user data on its servers. The only persistent data is:

Data Retention

Since no user data is stored on our servers, there is nothing to retain. To remove your local data, delete the Google Classroom entry from your claude_desktop_config.json file. To revoke the service's access to your Google account entirely, visit your Google Account permissions page and remove access for the application.

Security

The authorization flow uses Google's OAuth 2.0 protocol over HTTPS. The refresh token is transmitted securely and is only displayed in your browser for you to copy. The MCP server communicates with Google's APIs using authenticated, encrypted connections.

Children's Privacy

The service does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are using a Google Workspace for Education account, your use of the service is subject to your institution's policies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
